BBQ Time

There's nothing nicer than a BBQ on a warm Summer's evening. We bought all the ingredients from Waitrose and Tesco - along, with Burgers and Sausages, we also had Halloumi cheese. We like to make our own version of a salad accompaniment  - using the Tesco Finest Spinach Pinenut Pasta Salad we add cooked Chicken Slices, Lettuce, Tomato, Red Pepper, Boursin Cheese, Croutons and Avocado Pear. To finish we bought extra large Mega Marshmallows to toast. Let us know about your BBQ's  xx

Wow! Where has the time gone since my last blog post? We have been really rushed off our feet here. Herb Garden - the new project

This is part of my new garden project. I am using more herbs in my cooking and there is nothing better than fresh herbs. I've planted French and English Lavender around the edge with Rosemary, Thyme, Sage, Parsley and Basil. I have also planted seeds of Chives and Borage. I have planted 2 types of Mint in the container in the middle. Mint can be a nuisance as it will easily take over a garden. And this is my next project: Happy Easter Everyone xx
